What was most important to you when planning your wedding?
Most important to us was having a day to finally celebrate us! After 4 postponed weddings, we were ready to celebrate our love with our closest friends and family.
What was the most memorable part of the day?
Truly, we enjoyed every part of our wedding. However, we can say for certain that getting to finally have that first dance as husband & wife, was the most memorable part of our day!
How did you choose your venue and wedding vibe?
We knew we always wanted a smaller wedding (small for Italians), so we picked a venue that had a capacity limit of 200. Once we saw the Storys Building in person we fell in love with the venue. We loved the NYC loft vibe, the herringbone floor and exposed brick design and when we pictured it at night, lit with candles it was our number one pick.
Do you have any advice for newly engaged couples?
If we had any advice for a newly engaged couple would be to make sure the two of you make all your final decisions together and don’t get drunk until after your speech!
How did you choose your wedding photographer?
We knew we wanted more of a moody look for photos vs. the classic wedding photos and when we came across Brandon & Jessie it was totally what we were looking for. From our first conversation we clicked and they were just as cool and friendly in person – we only wanted the best of the best and it’s exactly what we got!
